Get to Know VanGo Part 1

At VanGo, we’re proud of our team. They are our family. They always go above and beyond to provide awesome customer service with a down-to-earth attitude and provide support to our wholesalers as well as each other. Everybody brings something unique to the table, and we are all united by a passion for vaping, flavors and a desire to see the vaping industry continue to thrive.

This week, we’re featuring four of our key team members, what they do, the flavors they love and their predictions for the future of the vaping industry!

What do you do at VanGo?

I’m in charge of all the social media correspondence as well as a little bit of PR. My daily tasks include manage social media accounts like Facebook and Instagram, and I help out with executing all the marketing plans. I also deal with customer relationships.

What is your favorite flavor?

There are so many! It changes like every day. But right now, my go-to flavor is Coffee Delight (which was previously known as Tiramisu).

Where do you think the industry will go?

Hopefully, the industry will become a lot more mainstream. I wish to see a lot less smokers and a lot more vapers. When travelling to the UK, I saw how vaping has become a really close-knit community whereas in Canada it’s just starting to pick up traction. I want to see that kind of community in Canada.

What do you do at VanGo?

I take care of all the shipping. I manage the inventory and ship all the orders out!

What is your favorite flavor?

Right now, I can honestly say The Root. It’s so good, and it fits my flavor taste really nicely.

Where do you think the industry will go?

Hopefully, it will take over from cigarette smoking. I used to smoke cigarettes two years ago. I smoked two packs a day unfortunately, but as soon as Ray Aquino introduced me to vaping, I quit smoking almost immediately. I haven’t touched a cigarette since. I’ve been good for like two years!

What do you do at VanGo?

I take care of videography, so everything related to videos and video editing. I also do pictures for social media and photography. Basically, I’m a multimedia producer.

What is your favorite flavor?

My favorite flavors would have to be Frozen Waterberry and The Root. Those are my top picks right now. I love them. Really flavorful e-juices.

Where do you think the industry will go?

I believe that we can reach more people who smoke cigarettes and save many more lives. I believe vaping is the future, and years from now, it will be really big worldwide. There’s a lot of new things happening in the vaping industry. We're evolving pretty fast, not only on different types of flavors and e-juices, but also mods, equipment and new tools. It’s a unique industry, and it’s growing fast.

What do you do at VanGo?

I manage marketing, so I coordinate and schedule campaigns and content, and I make sure the plans for our social media are going through. On top of that, I manage all the random stuff going on at the lab, so anything from order issuing to fixing computers. I kind of do a little bit of everything.

What is your favorite flavor?

I vape a lot of the Frozen Waterberry and Cactus Jango. Gotta have the menthol and the non-menthol.

Where do you think the industry will go?

With vaping, it’s very interesting because there’s all this new tech coming out every week, so in the past few months, we’ve seen the rise of salt nicotine, as well as people switching to pod systems. The market is kind of splitting, the people who want flavor are still going to have a sub ohm tank, and a dripper and free base juice to get the most flavor they can get. Then, the guy who needs something for the nicotine, he’s going to get the pod. In my opinion, the industry is going to split. You’ll have the flavor category and the nicotine category.
